I agree- I think her point was about people who usually do drink that then make their friends feel bad for wanting to celebrate their birthday during dry jan and don’t know how to participate normally w/o drinking- completely agree with the thought that everyone should respect those who choose not to drink
I love Maison Clay in Brooklyn for one off pottery wheel sessions. The owner is sooo nice and when you pick up your finished pieces they'll let you take home some unclaimed pieces if you ask, so if your bowl came out janky you might be able to find a nice one in one of their boxes!
yessss- i honestly find the biggest issue with this is finding enough spots on classpass so we don’t all pay the $45 drop in fee so curious where you like to go!
I love that you love Spa88! There is nothing like it with a friend or two, a pack of cards, and absolutely no plans so you can soak up your coma afterwards.
I LOVE Haricot Vert! These are such great ideas! Also I'm hosting my first dinner party in January bc your page has given me the confidence to actually plan one! Can't wait to share the pics with you!
“people who take the concept of Dry January to an extreme and refuse to order a drink to celebrate their January friend’s birthday”
There are many reasons why people don’t drink - religion, health, etc. the concept of what constitutes a celebration should be able to respect this.
