I loved reading this, especially after attending a few of your supper clubs, and I second every single point you made <3 You already know how much I adore you, but you're seriously the warmest host with a gift for having most creative ideas. You inspire the rest of us!!!
Not at all! It can be a thing with your closest friends! some of my favorite hosting is a little 4 person dinner party where itβs still fancy just because β¨
An amazing read! Thank you so much for welcoming me into your beautiful space this yearβcanβt wait for the many exciting parties you have planned in the year ahead.
Club Crumbs is making me want to move back to NYC!! This sounds so amazing! You should be so proud of everything you've done this year - it's really awesome!
You might want to check out Feasts: Menus for Home-cooked Celebrations by Leslie Newman (cowrote the Christopher Reeves Superman movies.).
Yes, it was written in 1990. But the ideas are still good. Leslie was written up in the NY Times for her NY Eve party for 200. Which she cooked for by cooking for 20 people ten times. (Like 10 big pans of lasagna, etc. But she explored lots of cuisines). Sound familiar?
You can get used copies in quite good condition at used book sites like Alibris for less than $10.

Love this β SO inspiring! I want to host a supper club SO BADLY. I live way upstate (Lake George) so it feels relatively infeasible π
